The Spartan Marching Band makes up a large majority of the music program here at HP.  Throughout the fall semester, this exciting group makes appearances at the home football games, pep rallies, and the Huntington Park Christmas Parade.  In addition, the marching band also competes against other high school music programs throughout Southern California. 

For the past three years, the Spartan Marching Band & Colorguard have won first place at the LAUSD Band and Drill Team Championships and placed in the top 3 spots at many field competitions through the season. Furthermore, the HP band has been featured in The Los Angeles Times, helped make HPHS a Grammy Signature School, and has several students continue to play music after graduating.  To this day, the marching band never fails to excite crowds all across California throughout the year.
