Beginning Band is a the perfect group for students who want to learn one of the basic band instruments, but have no prior music experience. This group includes all the basic wind instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, tuba, french horn, baritone, and percussion. Emphasis in this course is placed on contemporary and classical wind band repertoire suitable to concert band festivals and the concert stage. This group performs three times a year.
